Differences in raw materials
The ingredients in muffins and cupcakes are different. Muffin is made from flour, milk and eggs. Difference in storage and serving
Muffins can be stored and served hot and cold. But on the other hand, this is not the case and cupcakes can only be kept in the refrigerator and served cold.
Differences in size and shape
Normally, muffins have larger dimensions than cupcakes and after baking, they slightly come out of the mold and become mushroomy. If the cupcakes usually do not rise above the edge of the mold or paper.
