Tree agate stone or dendrite agate takes its name from the Greek word meaning tree-like. These types of agates are usually colorless, white, or gray and show patterns like trees or ferns due to the presence of iron and manganese, which are called dendrites.

Mainly, shajar refers to the same agates as shajar, but it is interesting to know that there are also different patterns on turquoise (including streaks, sometimes like a tree, sometimes a name, etc.) The type of turquoise is called Shajari turquoise. These inscriptions are sometimes in gold color and sometimes in black color, which is considered to be the birth certificate of the stone. (It shows that it is original.)

Why did they put the word "tree" on this stone?
In Shajari agate stone, the shape of a tree (in Arabic this word means tree) and natural landscapes and sometimes images similar to animals can be seen. The ancients believed that this gem records a shape of the surrounding environment as a result of lightning, and in fact, it has a role similar to the negative of a photographic camera, and according to the place where the stone is located, it creates a different scene in it. but in fact the main reason for the appearance of this stone is the growth of the dendritic structure of manganese oxide inside it during crystallization.
